The philosophy of my designs

1. Design for the integration of the environment with built structures,
2. Create outdoor living spaces that respond to the site and needs of the users. 
3. Strive for sustainability in design on all scales from residential to commercial and institutional through site analysis, conceptual designs, construction documentation and administration.

History

I have been in the landscape industry since receiving my MLA degree.  Before I moved to Tennessee, I was the owner of a Landscape Architecture firm and at a different time, the owner of a design/build company. Simultaneous with operating these firms, I was a faculty member on both graduate and undergraduate landscape design programs.  See bio section for details.
